Join your neighbors and gather at Easton's Lot Spot for the kickoff of WORDS IN THE WARD! Words In The Ward brings neighbors, poets, musicians, artists together to share, listen, and relax.
This event on September 28 will be held in conjunction with the 100TPC global movement of events around the world. You can find the facebook event page here. The event listing on the official 100 Thousand Poets For Change Website is here.  (2014 Event Listing, Easton, PA)
Founded by Michael Rothenberg and Terri Carrion, the idea is simple: Poets and Performers from all walks of life are encouraged to plan events on the same weekend (every September) and to create events that reflect community concerns like sustainability, nonviolence, social justice, human rights, poverty, hunger, and so on...
The organizer for this event is Elynn Alexander, Easton poet, artist, independent publisher of poetry and fiction, and member of Six Syndicate Arts. Elynn (Lynn) has organized and/or curated readings and literary events and festivals across the country and is looking forward to tainting her new town.
